Well that’s what the house owners thought. In real life it was an even better restaurant for traditional food. No Sushi no Shishi. A decorative element was a Fusuma.

Visually so significantly delivering a strong identity is our main product. Triangle shaped Onigiris. Rice wrapped in Nori (seaweed). That alone makes already the identity. The name…? Well ask two Japanese and you will get 3 opinions. Anyhow more than an westerner gaijin will ever be able to understand.

These were the words our CEO Lau in Beijing started his elaborate speech. It climaxed in the announcement to switch the identity from a Lion to a Sheep. It was a fake. We wanted to make people wake up, stand up. Behave the way proud creatives are supposed to. Not doing a nine to five job.

The executional idea was to use the warning messages on cigarette packs which were highly in the public focus at this time. But we “warned” of the risks of increased wellbeing.
